This sector has and is making huge improvements in terms of sustainable building materials. However, the integration of renewables seems to be somewhat haphazard. We think that this will eventually be part of building regulations, to have an amount of sustainable energy technologies incorporated in the build or facilities such as recycling, district heating schemes and small scale anaerobic digestion within a development.
We believe that it is better for this sector to discuss future technologies with ourselves rather than having them imposed upon them in the future.

It is far better to open yourself up to plaudits by producing sustainable energy properties as people are looking to minimise both their carbon footprint and their energy costs. This applies to both commercial and residential developers.
