A manufacturing base is all important. It supplies jobs to the community, it reduces carbon footprint in that you don’t have import, has a shorter supply chain and economic self-reliance.

It can been seen in recent events that the sector can no longer rely on commoditised energy. That is to say, energy is a commodity and will be subject to market forces, pricing and availability.

It is incumbent on shareholders to make relevant changes in adopting renewable energy to cut down one of its largest expenditures, that of energy usage.
