Horizontal Axis Wind Turbines (HAWT’s) are driven by kinetic energy, as in the power of the wind makes the turbine blades turn. This kinetic energy can then be turned into electrical power via a generator housed in the nacelle.
These are usually two to three bladed and can be positioned in the up wind or downwind flow.
An installation on your site can be done in one of the following ways:
Client purchases the turbine from own funds
Client can seek funding
Enter into a Joint Venture (JV). This can be agreed between ourselves, a wind developer and you as the client
A wind developer takes the site and provide you with rental income from the site, together with either revenue or energy or, in some cases both
