Sustainability

The Kyoto Protocol (1997), sometimes known as the Kyoto Agreement, encapsulates the United Nations Framework Convention on climate change.

The protocol serves to operationalise the move forward to reduce greenhouse gases that are increasing global warming and human manufactured Co2 emissions are driving it. Conference of Parties (COP) meet, usually annually, to discuss and plan the reduction of Co2 emissions with its parties. It is incumbent upon us, not only to take note of the macro situation but as corporates to be involved in the micro picture. Whether that is managing our resources better, recycling or via a sustainable energy project.
